About Our Business

I have served in the US Coast Guard Reserve for over 22 years. Most of that
time has been enlisted and small boat related, especially washing boats and
wooden docks! I have a powerful attraction to water and a great respect for it
as well.

Everyone knows that water is essential to life. Occasionally, we experience
how powerful and destructive it is too, like in the Gulf Coast region after
Hurricane Katrina. Sometimes we are annoyed by it when the rain drones on
for days at a time, especially when we have outdoor activities planned! Most
of the time, we take it for granted when we turn on the faucet to enjoy a cold
glass of water or take a shower.

I started this business for several reasons. One major reason is so that I can
provide my son with the monetary support he needs in life. Also, it is
something I can transfer to him when he is old enough to work. Many people
work for decades to earn a pension or save for a retirement, which is all
important for the time period when we may no longer be able to work. I
wanted to create a business that gives my son an option to succeed in life
instead of just giving him the "retirement watch" earned from 30 years worth
of corporate work.
